Position Overview:


Sustaining Test Engineering Support



  • Provide
    support of Manufacturing test solutions to Contract Manufacturer, in South
    American region.

  • Maintain
    and support factory test equipment and test software.

  • Interface
    with Contract Manufacturer to resolve manufacturing test issues, both test
    equipment and product related.

  • Resolve
    Manufacturing yield issues.

  • Reside in
    region, and provide full time on-site support to Contract Manufacturer.


Qualifications:


Requires a bachelors degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 yeras experience or masters and 3 years experience.



  • 3 – 5 years
    experience developing test solutions for Telecom products.

  • Working
    knowledge of Visual Studio.net, C#.net, C, C++, Test Stand, Lab Windows, Lab
    View.

  • Experience
    with embedded diagnostics and operational test code.

  • Experience
    with GPIB, USB and serial port controlled high speed data and optical
    instrumentation.

  • Experience
    with sustaining support of telecom products that include but not limited to
    DSx, OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192, GE and 10GE protocols.

  • Experience
    with board level debug and diagnostic.

  • Working
    knowledge of test interface design using CAD tools.

  • Require
    fluency in both English and Spanish oral and written communication skills.
