Propósito del Puesto
Assist in managing and leading the fiduciary accounting responsibilities including responsibility of ensuring a strong system of internal controls are in place to safeguard corporate assets, and that all books and records are prepared accurately and in accordance with US and Mexican rules, regulations, policies and standards. Provide support for the  COMPANY  in new investments and other growth opportunities. Training and Developing the financial teams regarding best practices and internal controls.

Principales funciones.

- Supervise and develop clerical and accounting professionals. Work with local  management to ensure that norms, procedures and systems are aligned to business strategy: Identify implications of business strategy in norms, procedures and systems, propose and implement changes when external factors or business needs justify them.

- THIS POSITION WILL PARTICIPATE  in defining procedures and norms compliance: Analyze  COMPANY  processes and identify fiduciary risks, evaluate costs-benefit of implementation of procedures and controls and make decisions to implement them, monitor the compliance of norms and procedures and take preventive and/or corrective actions when needed. Lead by example in coaching accounting team in developing technical skills.

- Operate as a member of the management team  in delivering analysis

- Ensure key accounting and business controls are in place and monitored.
- Review current processes and systems to ensure controls are in place. Ensure internal control systems that provide effective and efficient operations, reliable financial reporting and compliance with corporate policies.

 Escolaridad:    University degree in Accounting or Finance     (Required)
 
Conocimientos Generales:
* Knowledge of Cargill Corporate accounting and US GAAPS  (Required)
* Good understanding of information systems       (Required)
* Risk Management experience, credit risk management and mitigation experience   (Required)
